Her senior campaign may be in the rearview mirror, but accolades continue to come in for Destiny Riddle.
The Southeastern softball great was nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year award for 2019. Riddle was one of 10 athletes from Oklahoma colleges and one of 131 NCAA Division II student-athletes to receive a nomination.
The award was established in 1991 and according to NCAA.org is given to recognize “graduating female college athletes who have exhausted their eligibility and distinguished themselves in academics, athletics, service and leadership throughout their collegiate careers.”
In her time at Southeastern, Riddle was a two-time All-GAC player and named a Google Cloud Academic All-American following her junior season.
