DURANT – Southeastern rodeo athletes Kaycee Hollingback and Cierra Doyal have been named National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Scholar Americans, recognizing their work in the classroom as well as in the arena.
Hollingback is a native of Wilburton, Okla., and recently completed her freshman season of competition and competes across every discipline available to the women in breakaway roping, goat tying, barrel racing, and team roping.
Doyal is a native of Durant, Okla., and recently completed her junior season after spending her first two seasons at Hill College. Doyal also competes across all three women’s events, breakaway roping, barrel racing, and goat tying.
Student-athletes must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA and have earned at least one point during the competition season to be eligible for the award.
