The Southeastern women’s basketball team has been able to get almost all of its games in so far this season, until a recent power outage and the subzero winter weather event of the past few days.
In the mean time, SE has a record of 8-6 and has been listed in the initial regional rankings in Division II.
Southeastern, and the Great American Conference, is making a one-year move out of D-II’s Central region and into the South Central region as a part of restructuring the playoffs to balance the D-II landscape. The Storm women are one of eight teams in the regional rankings.
The NCAA is simply listing teams as ‘under consideration’ and with no particular order. A note from the NCAA with the lists reads that “due to the disparity of games played this season and the limited data available, the schools below are listed as ‘under consideration’ for championship selection in alphabetical order for this regional ranking.”
