DURANT – The Southeastern Oklahoma State University eSports team – SEsports – will begin its spring season in early February, competing in four different games in the semester.

This is the third academic year the SEsports team will take on other universities and colleges in competition. SEsports teams will compete in Valorant on Mondays, Overwatch on Thursdays, Rocket League on Fridays, and Apex on Saturdays during the five-week season. Matchup times and opponents have yet to be determined, but fans can keep up with @SEsportsHQ on YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram and receive mobile notifications before each matchup, which should be between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Central time.
SEsports competes in the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) and Oklahoma Association of Collegiate Esports (OACE) and is under the direction of Steven Harris, who is also assistant director of admissions and recruitment at Southeastern. NECC and OACE playoffs will begin in mid-March.
SEsports plays in the new eSports Arena in the Glen D. Johnson Student Union, which opened in 2023. The 18-computer Alienware Esports Arena is a state-of-the-art facility designed specifically for competitive gaming, providing a space for players to hone their skills and showcase their abilities.
