On Thursday, the Durant branch of Simmons Bank this recognized Teach Children to Save Day.
Promoted by the American Bankers Association, financial institutions are encouraged to recognize this opportunity to impart personal financial knowledge to children on the fourth Thursday in April, or really any day of the year. It is about actively providing financial education to youth and to encourage good saving habits.
Simmons Bank was one of many banks throughout the country to participate in the day’s activities.
