Silo ISD plans to begin school year with in-person instruction

BRYAN COUNTY – The Silo Independent School District is preparing to start the 2020-2021 school year bringing students back to the campus.

On Friday afternoon, the Silo ISD posted on its Facebook page its intentions:

“Silo School plans to begin traditional school on August 6th with Covid protocol and procedures in place. If you have concerns or questions about your student returning to school, please contact their building principal to discuss their educational plans. An updated 4-day school week calendar and Covid procedures will be published on the 20th.

“As always, serving students is our main priority and we would like to thank everyone for their patience and encouragement over the past several months. You have been wonderful! Working together we can make the best of this situation for our children’s future.

“Have a great weekend!
Kate McDonald
