OKLAHOMA CITY – Silo got on the board early in Thursday night’s state quarterfinal and never trailed or looked back.
The Rebels took care of business with a 5-2 win over Tushka in Dolese Park.
Dalton Roberts earned the win for Silo (24-2), pitching 4.0 innings while striking out four, walking one and giving up one earned run.
Easton Ford was the starter and was on the mound for 2.1 innings and Charlie Gardner took the Rebels home taking care of the final two outs.
Roberts was also the man at the plate. He connected on a three-run homerun to left field with Ford and Conner Cordell on base and gave Silo the high ground.
Just like Silo’s softball team did on Thursday, the Rebels’ baseball team will face Dale on Friday. The semifinal matchup is set to have first pitch at 2 p.m.
