Sherry Harendt, of Bokchito, Okla., passed from this life on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the age of 65. She was born on Tuesday, December 25, 1956 in Austin, Texas, to James “Jim” Daryl and Shirley Ann (White) Skiles. 
She married David Harendt on October 25, 1975 in Mesquite, Texas. She was a resident of Bokchito, Okla., for the past 10 years and was a member of the Caddo Church of Christ.
She enjoyed sewing, painting and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Shirley Skiles and her husband, David Harendt.
Survivors include her daughte,r Christina and husband Colin Tiffie of Durant, Okla.; son, David Harendt and wife Shauna of Bokchito, Okla.; grandsons: Jackson Tiffie of Durant, Okla., Conley Tiffie of Durant, Okla., Jacob Harendt of Bokchito, Okla., Atlee Harendt of Bokchito, Okla.; granddaughters: Charley Jo Tiffie of Durant, Okla., Olivia Harendt of Bokchito, Okla., Dylan Keeler of Bokchito, Okla., Hadli Keeler of Bokchito, Okla.; brothers, Larry Skiles, Lee Skiles and wife Sue, K.C. Skiles and wife Virginia; sister, Colleen Sellars and husband Craig; sister-in-law, Wynona Russell as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A funeral was held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the Monterey Chapel in Durant, Okla. A graveside service followed at Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo, Okla. Jacob Harendt, Jackson Tiffie, Conley Tiffie, Jacob Jenkins, Calvin Tiffie and Colton White served as pallbearers.
