DURANT – Shelburne Heating and Air has been a part of the Bryan County community for more than seven years. And now, the next phase of the business is going strong.
With the new sign up outside the office and building, Shelburne Heating and Air’s new location on 49th Avenue is ready for the public to see.
“We’ve just been fortunate enough to move into our place, rather than leasing,” owner Jeff Shelburne said. It’s allowed to carry inventory more readily, have parts availability and bring on a full office staff to help maintain efficiency for our customers.
Shelburne and his staff have done much of the work on the building, which is located at 2877 N. 49th Ave., just north of the intersection of 49th and Mockingbird. The site hosted the Durant Area Chamber of Commerce Coffee Network meetings during the month of May.
“It’s been a slow process,” Shelburne said. “The guys that work for me have all been a big part of it, which in turn has worked to be great because they’re proud of having it and take good care of it.”
He spoke also about how his company can serve the area.
“We offer better service than anyone around. We chase rebate programs to help the customers in all ways that are possible. So far this year, we’ve saved people more than $14,000 just in rebates.”
