Scott Morris, of Boswell, Okla., passed from this life on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021 at the age of 47. He was born on Thursday, Nov. 12, 1973 in Weatherford, Texas, to Gordon Alexander and Janelda Ann (Russell) Morris.
He was a resident of Boswell, Okla., formerly of Springtown, Texas. He was a volunteer fireman and Explorer Assistant Advisor for the fire department in Springtown, Texas as well as a community outreach volunteer at the police station in Springtown. He was an avid movie collector. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was very proud of beating pancreatic cancer and his dragon is dead.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Grace Morris and Junior and Ann Russell.
Survivors include his parents, Gordon and Janelda Morris of Boswell, Okla.; sisters, Christina Beebe and husband Danny of Boswell, Okla., Cathy Merrell of Boswell, Okla.; nephews, Joseph Beebe of Springtown, Texas, Stephen Morris and Deja Jackson of Boswell, Okla.; nieces, Brandi McLeland and husband Brad of Springtown, Texas, Racheal Tuck and husband Justin of Mineral Wells, Texas, Brianna Merrell and Patrick Johnson of Boswell, Okla.; great-niece and nephew, Kaytlin and Holden; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and other extended family.
He made friends everywhere he went. He will leave behind many friends.
Cremation services were selected.
