Sally Swindall

Sally Lynn Swindall was born in Prosper, Texas on June 30, 1948 to Clarence Theadore and Willie Bell Parvin. She was extremely proud to be both a Parvin and to be from Prosper.

Sally married the love of her life, Steve Swindall, on June 8, 1968. They spent 53 years loving and serving each other selflessly. Steve and Sally moved several times and traveled the country wherever work and ultimately God would lead. After the birth of their son, Seth, they moved to Atoka, Okla. where they would live many years building a family, a home, and investing into a community that would become like family!

Sally dedicated her life to her family. She was a wife who loved, honored, and cherished her husband in the most Christ like way possible. She gave her life to be the best mother possible and he honors her as a woman of God, a woman of integrity, and a woman of impeccable character who loved him selflessly! She was proud to be called Grammy by her five grand girls that she cherished and loved deeply.
She spent many years serving the local church family of Dayspring Church/Victory Life Church Atoka as a secretary and then later a faithful volunteer. She cherished her friends and loved them each so dearly.
On October 22, 2021 she finished her race and experienced her Victory over every struggle and battle she had ever endured. She became absent from her body, only to immediately become present with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
She leaves an incredible legacy of love for her family and friends. She will continue to be an inspiration to many, most of all her husband, son, daughter-in-law, and her five favorite granddaughters!
The Swindall family would like to extend extreme gratitude for every individual and family who has called, texted, extended generosity, and cooked meals to serve us in many ways throughout this difficult season. You have all been so faithful to reflect the love of Christ to us all and we are so thankful to each and everyone of you.
There will be a celebration of her life at 2 p.m.  on Thursday, Oct. 28 at the Victory Life Church in Atoka, Okla.
Services are under the direction of Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla.
