Ruth Percell

Ruth Ann Percell, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister joined her Savior on Sept. 29, 2021, at the age of 73. She was born in Bennington, Okla. on Aug. 11, 1948, to Leon Lauderdale and Alma (Cook) Lauderdale.

Ruth Ann was blessed to be married twice in her lifetime: first husband, Kenneth Campbell, who preceded her in death, and Larry Percell, who also preceded her in death.

Ruth Ann dedicated her life to lovingly caring for her home and family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bennington. Ruth Ann enjoyed a good cup of coffee, crossword puzzles, and playing games with her sisters.

Mrs. Percell is survived by her children: Bryan Campbell of Muskegon, Mich., Jamey Campbell and wife Mickie of Bennington, Okla., Alecia McFatridge and husband Joseph Dean of Bennington, Okla., Letha Langren and husband David of Sand Springs, Okla., and Teresa Gambill and husband Buncky of Mannford, Okla.; grandchildren: Emily McFatridge and husband Toby of Bennington, Okla., Larry Campbell and wife Rabecka of Bokchito, Okla., Joshua and Taylor Campbell of Helotes, Texas, Ashleigh Gilmore, Ciera Campbell, Herbie Campbell, Casey Campbell, Miley Campbell, Brianna Haislip, Raven Haislip, Macy Campbell, Makiyah Campbell, Alyssa-Faith Campbell, Braiden Campbell, Krislynn Campbell, Sofia Campbell, Lillie-Grace Campbell, A.J. Campbell, Kylee Maple, Kazayden Bean, Kinsley Brooks and Bryson Campbell; great-grandchildren: Jaxon McFatridge, Derek Evans, Luke Evans, Kaylynn Rowland, Elijah Hutson, Logan Campbell, Haileigh Muniz, Xya Campbell, Lillie-Anna Muniz, and Zara Gilmore, and also survived by her sisters, Betty Page of Austin, Texas, and Leona Works of Durant, Okla.

Mrs. Percell was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Alma Lauderdale; first husband, Kenneth Campbell; grandchildren: Johnathan Campbell and Jaycee Wells; second husband, Larry Percell, and siblings: Alice Maxwell, Arthur Lauderdale, Andrew Curtis Lauderdale, Anna Sue Lauderdale, Mary Houghland, James Lauderdale, and Edgar Lauderdale.

Family hour will be from 3-4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla.

A celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4 at the Family Worship Center in Bokchito with Rev. Phillip Rowland officiating. Her pallbearers will be Toby Evans, Robert Holiday, Brent McFatridge, Donald McFatridge, Tim Sutherland, and Chris Brown.

The honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Dean, Larry Campbell, and Megan Looney, and Herbie Campbell.

Services are under the direction of Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla.
