Ruth Ann Marlin, a resident of Durant, Okla., and beautiful soul, left this life on Aug. 29, 2021, at the age of 81. She was the beloved daughter of J. C. Morgan and Louise (Harris) Morgan born on June 30, 1940, in Durant. Ruth Ann married her sweetheart Don Marlin on May 31, 1958, in Durant.
Ruth Ann was an active, dedicated member, of the Calvary Baptist where she served faithfully as the church secretary. She cherished her whole family especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Marlin is survived by her daughters, Donna Hallerman and husband Brett of Plano, Texas, Kim Rowland and husband Eric of Durant, Okla.; grandchildren, Kenli Rowland of Durant, Okla., Caitlyn Rowland of Oakland, Calif., Josh Hallerman, wife Lauren and great-granddaughter, Tatum of McKinney, Texas, and Matt Hallerman of McKinney, Texas; brother, Leonard Morgan and wife Pat of Durant, Okla.; nieces, Leiann Bahe and family of Durant, Okla., and Leslie Prentice and family of Bokchito, Okla., and also survived by her nephew, Layne Morgan and family of Durant, Okla.
Mrs. Marlin is preceded in death by her parents, J. C. and Louise Morgan, and beloved husband, Don Marlin.
A celebration of Ruth’s life will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Durant with Bro. Darel Bunch officiating.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Falls Creek Fund.
