DURANT – Four Seasons Rehabilitation and Care held its inaugural prom last Friday and it was declared to be a success.
All of the residents were able to dress in formal attire and also had the opportunity to have heir hair and nails done. Those in attendance, including residents and guest danced through the evening and even recognized a prom king and queen.
Tony Ashley and Nelda Compton were the recipients of those honors.
Elders and residents also voted for a prom prince and princess to come from those who are care partners. Frankie Chalk, the Activities Director, and Stacy Weger, Assistant Director of Nursing, were named prince and princess.
Hope Baxter, said it was a great evening and that she appreciated those who gave of time and effort.
“This was the first year for our annual prom,” Baxter said. “We were fortunate enough to have had tons of support and donations from the community.”
