Roscoe “Carter” Lake, of Durant, Okla., passed from this life on Monday, Sept. 30, 2019 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 44 days. He was born on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019 in Dallas, Texas to Patrick Wayne and Brittany Marie (Marsh) Lake.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Jessica Inman.
Survivors include parents Patrick and Brittany Lake of the home; sister, Nevaeh Lake of the home; paternal great-grandparents, Roscoe and Carolyn Row of Calera, Okla.; maternal great-grandfather Alan Caldwell of Armstrong, Okla.; maternal great-grandmother Kathy Hays of Armstrong, Okla.; maternal great-great-grandmother JoAnn Howard of Durant, Okla.; uncle Connor Lockler of Calera, Okla.; aunts Terri Pratt of Calera, Okla. and Brandi Baumann of Virginia; great aunts, Carrie Jones of Calera, Okla. and Victoria Hays of Sherman, Texas.
A family hour will be held at Gordon Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019 from 6-7 p.m.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2019 at the Monterey Chapel, 224 S. Ninth Ave. in Durant, with Rev. Mike Manaugh officiating. A graveside service will follow at the pavillion in the Highland Cemetery in Durant.
