Rosa Bell Lemmons, 85 of Kingston, Okla., passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021, at her home in Kingston. She was born on Sept. 6, 1935 in Old Woodville in Marshall County, Okla. to the late Andrew Cobb and Elberta Gamble Cobb.
Rosa was raised and lived her entire live in Marshall County. She married Andrew Lemmons in September 1960 in Bryan County, Okla. and he preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 1995. Rosa worked as a nurse’s aide in the medical field.
She is survived by children: Earl Lee of Kingston, Okla., Rickey Lemmons of Kingston, Okla.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers: Andrew Cobb, Frank Cobb, Pete Cobb; sisters: Francis Cash, Iona Buckaloo; several nieces, nephews and cousins
Rosa was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, James Monroe and sister, Willie Lee Richie.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at the Watts Funeral Home in Kingston, Okla.
Services will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the Kingston Cemetery in Kingston, Okla. Donnie Lehr will officiate the service.
Service will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla.
