Ronnie Malone, Sr.

Ronnie Malone Sr. was born March 20, 1950, in Albany, Okla., and Ronnie gained his angel wings on May 22nd 2021 in Branson, Mo., after spending a great day surrounded by family. Ronnie has been a lifelong resident of Utica, Okla. other than the years in the service.

Ronnie will be missed by so many people that he made a huge impact on during his life. Ronnie never met a person that didn’t love him or that he wouldn’t help.

Ronnie’s favorite things to do were to work with his cows and play with his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.

Ronnie married the love of his life, Dellena Malone on Aug 3, 1969. He spent the next 51 years building a great life together.

Ronnie served in the U.S. Army from 1972-1980. He was a Staff Sergeant, his duties during his service was as a Cannon crewman and Wheel vehicle mechanic. He served four years overseas.

Ronnie is survived by his beloved wife, Dellena Malone; children, Jennifer Malone of Durant, Okla.; Laura and husband Curtis Henderson of Utica, Okla.; Ronnie Malone, Jr. and wife Laura of Pottsboro, Texas; grandchildren, Gaven Rachel of Durant, Okla., Logan Ross of Durant, Okla., Dakota Hammond and wife Tiffany of Wade, Okla., Cameron Hammond and wife Tamra of Albany, Okla., Caroline and husband Jonathan of Henryetta, Okla., Malorie and Maverick Malone of Pottsboro, Texas, Alyson Malone of Pottsboro, Texas; great-grandkids: Derek, Kade, Caleb, Skylar, Tinlee, Grace, Alisha, Henry, Jeremy, and Zachary; surviving siblings: Jimmy Malone, Mary and husband John Waller of Roberta, Okla., Don Malone and wife Jan of Bennington, Okla., Mike Malone of Utica, Okla., Betsy and husband Terri Brooks of Milburn, Okla., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ronnie was proceeded in death by his parents, Henry and Ruby Malone; brothers: Robert Malone, Billy Malone; grandson, Zachary Henderson, and nephew, Jeremy Malone.

Family hour will be from 7-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla. A funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 27 at the Utica Baptist Church in Utica with Bro. John Heath officiating.

His final resting place will be the Bokchito Cemetery in Bokchito with Dakota Hammond, Cameron Hammond, Maverick Malone, David Malone, Bill Malone and Gaven Rachel as his pallbearers, the honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Malone, Justin Whittenburg, Logan Ross, and Johnny Waller officiating.
