Roger LaVerne St John, age 68, of Cartwright, Okla., passed away at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022. Roger was born on May 6, 1953 in Beloit, Kan. to Pearl and Rachel Cullum St John.
He worked many years in transportation as a truck driver. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Geneva, Christine, Valorie, Dawn and husband Craig, Tim (Bud) and wife Sharrisa; his sisters: Pearl, Lora, Edith and husband Max; his brothers, Keith and Kevin (Melissa); five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters-in-law, Lois Polson, Jane St John, Sharon St John, other extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Lee St John on December 9, 2021; his parents, Pearl and Rachel St John; brothers: Jim, Don, Ernie and Raymond; two nieces, Gabrielle and Angie Lique.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma, with Richard Gage officiating. Interment will follow.
