Robert D. Collier

Robert Collier, 68, passed away on January 31, 2021. He was born in Coalgate, Okla. to Marvin Dwayne Collier and LaWanda Ruth (Mason) Mabery on March 12, 1953.

Robert proudly served in the US Navy. He earned The National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, The Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal as well as The Presidential Unit Citation Ribbon during his service time.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Dwayne Collier and LaWanda Ruth (Mason) Mabery.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, DixieLee Clemons and husband Johnathan of Little Elm, Texas, Shawn Sandoval and husband Paul of Lakewood, Colo.; sisters, Rhea Carlie and husband Jessie of Caddo, Okla., and Dena Johnson and her husband David of Aubrey, Texas; also, his beloved grandchildren: Kaylee, Cambree, Noah, MarkLee, Mia, and Paul, Jr.

A celebration of Robert’s life with military honors is set for Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Service chapel in Durant.

Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Durant.
