Rita Stark, of Mead, Okla., passed from this life on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019 at the age of 64. She was born on Thursday, April 14, 1955 in Oklahoma City, Okla. to Jack C. and Waverly A. (Berg) McCann.
Rita enjoyed building models. She was a member of the Victory Life Church. She loved spending time with her family.
She married James Stark on July 12, 1985 in Durant, Okla. at the Victory Life Church.
She was preceded in death by her father in 2017, mother in 2008; brothers, Mikey in 2017 and Kern in 2018.
Survivors include her husband, James Stark of Mead, Okla.; daughter, Rebekah Holmes and husband Michael of Mead, Okla.; brother, Lanny Black and wife Joyce of Port Ludlow, Wash.; sister, Susan Stewhart; step-daughter, Carolyn Stark of Durant, Okla.; grandsons: Dylan Meyer of Durant, Okla., Matthew Holmes of Mead, Okla., Noah Holmes of Mead, Okla.; granddaughter, Mia Caraveo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended famly.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019 at the Victory Life Chapel in Durant, Okla. with Bro. Rick Smith and Bro. Lee Armstrong officiating.
