Ricky Dale Jones entered this life on April 7, 1960, born to Janis Edna (Conder) Jones and Ronald Dale Jones. Ricky entered the Gates of Heaven on August 8, 2022, at the age of 62.
Ricky graduated from Durant High School and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. On June 27, 1980, he married Debbi Speers, and they were blessed with a daughter, Olivia. They began their journey together and have been truly blessed with 42 years together.
Ricky worked as an IT specialist and programmer in the aerospace industry. He was a volunteer firefighter and served on the homeowner’s association board. He was of the Baptist faith, and he enjoyed camping, traveling, adventuring, tinkering with things at the lake. He had a tremendous love for his family and treasured the time he spent with them.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Debbi Jones of the home; daughter, Olivia Perry and wife Jessie of Saginaw, Texas; grandson, Gryffin Perry of Saginaw, Texas; parents, Ronald and Janis Jones; sister, Debbie Partin and husband Chuck of Hugo, Okla.; mother-in-law, Frances Speers of Durant, Okla.; brothers-in-law: Stephen Speers and wife Debbie of Durant, Okla., Michael Speers and wife Sheri of Durant, Okla. and Larry Hale of Sherman, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles who loved him and that he loved very much.
Funeral services to celebrate Ricky’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Bro. Roger Speers will officiate. Olivia Perry, Chuck Partin, Steve Speers, Steve Shepard, and Richard Hilderbrand will speak about Ricky’s amazing life.
The family will receive friends and family on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
