Rickey Webb

Rickey Dwayne Webb, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother, entered his eternal rest on Jan. 9, 2021 at the age of 68. He was the son of Edgar Franklin Webb and Katie Evelyn (Thomas) Webb.

Rickey was very active and enjoyed many outdoor sports. He always looked forward to a good game of golf, going and checking his cows, the cool fall weather that meant hunting, a quiet morning or afternoon fishing, traveling to new places with his wife Susan, and spending time with his grandkids. Rickey was a member of the Coleman Church of Christ. He spent 31 years as principal and superintendent in Oklahoma public schools touching the hearts of many.

Mr. Webb is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Susan Lyn (Stamps) Webb; daughter, Misty Gale (Webb) Olsen and husband Eddie of Milburn, Okla.; son, David Edgar Webb and wife Adela of Durant, Okla.; step-son, Don Keith Forguson of Mannsville, Oklal.; grandchildren: Emma Olsen, Troy Olsen, Damion Webb, Athena Webb, Hunter Forguson, Chloe Forguson, and Chase Forguson; brother, John Thomas Webb of Wapanucka, Okla.; nieces, Tracy Carter and husband Tim and children Kalie and Noah of Milburn, Okla. and Melanie Kallemeyn of Grand Junction, Colo.; nephew, John Eddie Carter and wife Sara of Milburn, Okla., and numerous cousins and friends.

Mr. Webb is preceded in death by his parents, Katie Evelyn (Thomas) Webb and Edgar Franklin Webb, sons, Chris William Franklin Webb, and Dwayne Kelvin Webb, sister, Barbara (Webb) Carter, and also a brother, Franklin Ray Webb.

A celebration of his life will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021 at the Coleman Church of Christ with Neil Mackey officiating. His resting place will be on private family property in Coleman.

His pallbearers will be Danny Arthur, Grant McDaniel, Dale Roath, Tommy Sharp, Jeff Taylor, and Larry Timmons. The honorary pallbearers will be Ken Keeling, Raymond Hairell, Jerry McDaniel, Jim Moore, Benny Olsen, Lee Parker, and Mike Webb.
