Richard Karl Earnhart, 62, of Colbert, Okla., passed away surrounded by his loved ones, on Tuesday, Nov, 26, 2019 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas.
Richard was born on May 8, 1957 in Denison, Texas to William Richard Earnhart and Thelma Alene Falter Earnhart. He was self-employed as a machinist. He was a high school graduate and served his country in the Air Force.
Left to cherish his memories are his children: Jonathan Michael Earnhart of Colbert, Okla., Benjamin Karl Earnhart of Durant, Okla.; mother, Thelma Alene Tucker; step-father, John Tucker; step-daughters: Merri Granger of Atoka, Okla., Jenny Haertling of Colbert, Okla.; step-son, Coy; sister, Melba Wright and husband Butch of Sherman, Texas; brothers: Paul Wesley Earnhart and wife Nicole of Denison, Texas, Thomas Dale Earnhart and wife Sandra; three grandchildren: Alexi Faith Haertling, J. J. Earnhart, Colton Earnhart; and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Haertling Earnhart in 2017, and father, William Richard Earnhart.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the American Funeral Service Chapel in Denison, Texas.
Interment will be at Garden of Memory Cemetery in Colbert, Okla. following the service. Family and friends visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral from 1-2 p.m.
