DURANT – The Southeastern volleyball team split on Day One of the invitational festival it hosts.
The Savage Storm swept Minnesota-Crookston (26-24, 25-13, 25-18) in the opener, then were swept by Central Missouri, ranked No. 21 in the country, (25-19, 27-25, 25-15) in the evening’s final match.
UCM, Southern Nazarene and Ouachita went 2-0 on the day.
SE will take on Texas A&M-International at noon on Saturday and will face Dallas Baptist at 7 p.m. to close out the event.
