RebaDeane McLaughlin of Cobb, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018 at the age of 67. She was born on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 1951 in Durant, Okla. to Joe Kenneth and Mattie Maudine (Earnest)
McClure. She moved back to Cobb from Amarillo, Texas in 1974.
She was preceded in death by her father Joe K. McClure and brother Kenny McClure. She married Bruce McLaughlin on Friday, Aug. 13, 1971 in Brown, Okla. She is survived by her husband Bruce of the home; son Paul McLaughlin and wife Amanda of Durant; mother Mattie Maudine McClure of Cobb; sister Jane Dills and husband Gary of Cobb; brothers Bob McClure and wife Carrie of Cobb, Tim McClure and wife Sheila of Hendrix; grandsons Jake McLaughlin, Grant McLaughlin and Owen McLaughlin as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a great host of extended family and friends.
She was a faithful member of the Cobb Baptist Church where she played piano and served as the church
secretary. The desire of her heart was that God be glorified in everything she did. She adored her three grandchildren, and would run and play all through the house with them. They affectionately called her Grammy. Above all, she loved her family and cherished every moment with them.
A family hour will be held from 4-5 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018 at Gordon Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, 2018 at the Cobb Baptist Church in Cobb, Okla. Bro. Wayne Bailey will be officiating. Drew McClure, Mason McClure, Joe W. McClure, Trever Wann, Beau Earl and Charlie Robinson will be serving as pallbearers.
