Raymond Jones, of Durant, Okla., passed from this life on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021 at the age of 69. He was born on Friday, Nov. 30, 1951 in Bakersfield, Calif. to Elmer Lee and Mildred Faye (Tyree) Jones.
He married Elizabeth (Massey) Jones on March 6, 1981 in Rockwall, Texas.
He came to Oklahoma in December 1993 from Garland, Texas. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and leatherwork. He was a member of the US Army.
He was preceded in death by His parents, Elmer Lee and Mildred Faye (Tyree) Jones and sisters Janie (Jones) Cross and Judy Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Jones of the home; daughters: Kimberly Blackwell of Montgomery, Texas, Teah Jones of Princeton, Calif.; brothers: Tom Jones of Greenville, Texas, Johnny Jones of Calusa, Calif., Odell Headrick of Durant, Okla.; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Cremation services were selected.
