Ray Gee of Calera, Okla., passed from this life on November 7, 2022, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. He was born on June 22, 1940, in Honey Grove, Texas to Howard and Willie (Gainer) Gee. Ray married Elnora Russell on July 6, 1959, in Achille, Okla.
Ray honorably served his country in the Army National Guard. He worked as a pipe fitter in the steel industry. He enjoyed the outdoors working in the yard. Watching TV was also a past-time. Ray especially loved visiting with his friends.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Elnora Gee of Calera, Okla.; daughters, Lynnette Madden of Ellsworth, Wisc., and Shanda Jones of Wagoner, Okla., and his sons, Eric Gee of Durant, Okla., and Lorran Gee of Bakersfield, Calif. His legacy lives on with his eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Willie Gee; four children and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will held in his honor on Thursday November 10, 2022, at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Chapel with Micah Wisdom officiating.
Those serving as pallbearers were Michael Jones, Eric Gee, Lorran Gee, Tim Madden, Mason Gee, and Johnny Gee.
Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home 121 N. Fifth Ave. in Durant.
