Ramon Aguirre, Jr.

Ramon “Wahoo” Aguirre, Jr. was born Oct. 18, 1958 in Sherman, Texas, to the late Ramon and Piedad (Hernandez) Aguirre. Mr. Aguirre, 62, passed away Monday, Feb. 1 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center.

He graduated from Sherman schools in 1978 and worked for Johnson and Johnson for several years before working the last 15 years at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts.

Ramon will be remembered for his love of family and friends.  He enjoyed cookouts, dancing, and spending time with family, especially his grandkids.

Ramon is survived by his son, Jeffrey Aguirre of Durant, Okla.; two daughters, Amy Brown and husband John of Kenefic, Okla. and Rachelle Freeman and husband Andy of Bremerton, Wash.; four grandchildren: Avrey Brown, Amrey Brown, Payden Aguirre, and Hunter Freeman; two sisters, Jane Ojeda and Rosalinda Rodriguez, both of Dallas; one brother, Rene Aguirre of Sherman; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Ramon Aguirre, Jr. will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5 at Waldo Funeral Home, located at 619 N. Travis St. in Sherman, Texas. Thank you for wearing masks during this visitation.
