Primaries, state question and more on June 16 ballot

BRYAN COUNTY – Bryan County residents have the opportunity to have a say in many things on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

The ballots offer opportunities for both Democrats and Republicans to cast their vote in primary elections for state offices, such as the governor, state superintendent of publication, and more, as well as primaries for United States senator and representative.

County commissioner seats are in play in two of the three districts in Bryan County. District One is a race between Lance Billings and Richard Nix and District Three has Brandon Carr and Josh Cross up for the seat.

State Question 832 is on the ballot throughout the state, involving a proposal for the increase of the state’s minimum wage.

And in Calera and Colbert, it is time again to vote for the renewal of the franchise for OG&E to produce, transmit and distribute energy in the twons and to maintain and operate the system.
