ADA – The Pride of Durant Marching Band raked in the awards at Tigerpalooza on Saturday.
The Born Warren Tournament of Bands, also known as Tigerpalooza, hosted by East Central University held its annual competition this weekend. The Pride of Durant marched in the preliminary and final rounds and showed up big in the finals.
Durant took home the caption awards of High Musical Performance, High Visual Performance, High General Effect and the Spirit Award. The Pride of Durant also earned First Place Overall in the final competition, which consisted of the top 10 performing bands from the preliminary round from earlier in the day.
