Penny Lynn Suggs, 45, of Durant, Okla., passed away at her residence, with her loving family near her, on Friday, June 5, 2020. Penny was born on June 20, 1974 in Olney, Texas to Jesse Lloyd Suggs and Emma Faye Jones Suggs.
She was a graduate of high school and spent most of her years in Bryan County.
Left to cherish her memories are her children: Christian Eshelman and Michael of Durant, Okla., Monica Walker and Gary Jolly of Durant, Okla., Alysa McClour and Brian of Durant, Okla.; grandchildren: Ryan Joe Keith McClour, Kayden Michael Jolly, Delilah Grace Eshelman, Kody Marshall Jolly, Kyle Matthew Jolly, Adaley Maree Ann McClour, Maezlyn Nicole Kay McClour, Athena Artemis Arrow Ross; sister, Karen Rusher of Missouri; brothers, Ted Cotton of Olney, Texas and Erik McConnell of Washington D.C.; nieces and nephews: Colten Armstrong of Georgia, Levi Armstrong of Durant, Okla., Heather Armstrong of Georgia; cousin, Michelle Armstrong, other extended family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Loyd Suggs and Emma Faye Jones Suggs, her son, Derrick Ryan Suggs and a grandchild, Emory Hope Eshelman.
In memory of Penny a party will be held on June 9 at 3 p.m.
