Peggy Jean Lamb, 85, of Colbert, Okla., passed away with her family near, on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020 at Southern Pointe Nursing Home in Colbert. Peggy was born on June 7, 1934 in Denison, Texas to William Beverly Higgins and Nettie Fay Johnson Higgins.
In her former years she was a teacher in California.
She is survived by her children: M.A. Lamb of Cartwright, Okla. and Ken Booe; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four children, three brothers and five sisters.
A Celebration of Life was held on Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, at American Funeral Service Chapel in Colbert, Okla.. Interment will be at Hebron Cemetery in Bells, Texas.
