Peggy Ann Hunter-Parker was born on February 17, 1967, in Dallas, Texas, to George Al and Norine Nell (Martin) Hunter. Peggy passed away on February 2, 2022, at her home in Durant at the age of 54. Peggy moved to Durant in 1990 and later married David Lee Parker Sr. on May 24, 1996, in Sherman, Texas. She worked as a nurse and merchandiser and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed bargain shopping and fishing. Peggy had a deep love for her family and friends. 
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; son, Timothy Hunter and sisters, Katie, Jeannette, Judy, and Becky.
Peggy is survived by her husband, David Lee Parker; son, Christopher Allen Hunter; daughter, Savanna Chisum and partner Miranda; siblings, Eddie Hunter and wife LeeAnn and Kathy Smith; many beloved grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Judy Sexton will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
