da Pauline (Kelton) Harper was born on Nov. 9, 1935 in Stigler, Okla. to William and Beulah (McNatt) Kelton. Pauline passed from this life on Jan. 16, 2021 in Plano, Texas at the age of 85.
Pauline married Franklin D. Harper on Sept. 9, 1956 in Circleback, Texas and they were blessed with two daughters, Teri and Pam. They moved to Bryan County in 2000 from Mena, Ark. after retirement. They were longtime members of Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Caney and Pauline and Frank were united as one for 61 years until Frank’s passing on May 28, 2018.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin D. Harper; parents, William and Beulah Kelton; brother, Merle Kelton and his wife Joyce and nephew, Butch Kelton.
Pauline is survived by her daughters: Teri Dufur and husband Alan of Caddo, Okla. and Pam McCurry and husband Mark of Plano, Texas; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; nephew, Tim Kelton and wife Carrie along with many extended family members.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo, Okla.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
