Paul David Bledsoe, a resident of Durant, Okla., passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021 in Durant. He was born to Erman James and Zeda Belle (McFatridge) Bledsoe on Sept. 25, 1939 in Texas. He married Nila on Jan. 4, 1988 in Oklahoma City, Okla. 
Paul enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Paul was a construction worker most of his life. Paul was a member of the Pentecostal Faith.
Paul is survived his wife, Nila Bledsoe of Durant, Okla.; children: Sissy Bledsoe, James Obert Bledsoe, Wendy Manners, Michelle Hall, James Anthony Pettit, and Ashley Pettit; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Terry and John Henry; sister, Betty Dorothy; along with numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. 
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Erman James and Zeda Belle Bledsoe; brothers, Charles, Leon, Stanley, Marvin, Ronnie Dale Merritt, Berry Bledsoe, JC Bledsoe and Kenneth Edward Bledsoe; sister, MaryAnn and Mauldean; granddaughter, Docia Wilkerson.
Services were held Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 at Mead Baptist Church in Mead, Oklahoma with Bro. Kerry Groce officiating.
