Orval Ray White, a resident of Coleman, Okla. passed from this life in Sherman, Texas on May 5, 2021 at the age of 74. He was born in Coleman on Oct. 31, 1946 to Walter Edmond White and Rita Jewell (Moran) White.
Orval loved being outside in nature fishing, hunting, and horseback riding. He was a truck driver by trade and retired from that profession.
Mr. White is survived by his children: Rita Lynn Adams of Macon, Ga., Lisa Faye White of Warner Robbins, Ga., Orval Wade White of Durant, Okla., Donald Ray White of Green River, Wyo., and Colton O’Neal White of Bokchito, Okla.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; siblings, Walter Lewis White of Coleman, Okla., Anna Jo Isenberg of Houston, Texas, LaRue Hamilton of Tuttle, Okla., Rena Collins of Coleman, Okla., and Debra Shockey of Coleman, Okla.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Florene VanHauten and Cecil White.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Hopewell Freewill Baptist Church in Coleman, Okla., with Bro. Vic Cook officiating. His final resting place will be the Coleman Cemetery in Coleman with Dale White, Clint Whittington, Michael Jankowiak, Derrell Isenberg, Adam Workman and Joey Collins as pallbearers, honorary pallbearers will be Fred Raines, The Voca Baptist Church Girls, and the Workman Corner Market Girls.
