Wanda Cummings, age 81 of Durant, passed from this life on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, in Durant.
She was born June 11, 1937 in Watts, Okla. to Clint and Marie (Floyd) Fletcher. She married James Cummings in 1954 in Fillmore, Calif. She moved to Durant in December 2016 from Fillmore, CA.
Wanda was a member of First Baptist Church in Fillmore, and Grace Baptist Church in Durant. She liked to read and work crossword puzzles.
She is preceded in death by her parents and children; Brenda, Donna, Vickie, Wesley, and James. She is survived by her daughters, Audrey Gonzalez of Durant, Eva Walston and Philip of Calera, and Judy Bass of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Debbie Thompson of Fillmore; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family hour will be Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, from 6-7 p.m. at Gordon Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church with Bro. Anthony Williams officiating.
