Leota Ann Hanna, a former resident of Bokchito, Okla., left this life in Kingston, Okla., on Tuesday July 31, 2018 at the age of 80. She was born in Clayton, N.M., to Clyde Lemekiel Coons and Louella (Wilt) Coons on Sept. 25, 1937. Leota married Marshall Hanna on June 17, 1958.
Leta enjoyed knitting, adult coloring books, but especially took pleasure in spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hanna is survived by her grandchildren: Ben Morgan and wife Karen of Carrollton, Texas, Buddy Morgan and wife Heather of Richardson, Texas, Rock Morgan and wife Mirriam of Garland, Texas, and Christy Conway of Bennington, Oklahoma; and great-grandchildren: Hannah Garrett of Carrollton, Texas, Lucy Morgan of Carrollton, Texas, Zion Morgan of Garland, Texas, and soon to be born Max Morgan.
Mrs. Hanna was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Louella Coons; husband, Marshall Hanna; daughters, Diana Morgan and Karen Conway; and one sister and three brothers.
A chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla. Leota will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. in Allen, Texas at the Turrentine Jackson Morrow Cemetery.
