Northwest Heights Elementary School recently held its Spelling Bee for the first grade.
Congratulations to the winners from the homeroom classes: Ruger Diessner, Isabella Santos, Xavier Focus, Scout Lee, Landry Beaver, Jace Gunter, Deran Watson, and Derek Alvarado.
The overall winners for the first grade were Tristan Fugler, champion, and Roslyn Brumley, runner-up.
