KINGSTON – The Silo basketball teams are set to head across Lake Texoma to compete in the Kingston New Year’s Classic as they open the 2022 portion of their schedules on Thursday.
Known for its strong competition year in and year out and also for one of the best (if not the best) hospitality rooms in the state, the 2022 edition looks to offer another great three days of tournament action.
Along with Silo and host Kingston, the schools in the this year’s tournament include Atoka, Broken Bow, Dale, Latta, Marlow and Talihina.
Here is the schedule for Thursday’s opening matchups:
GIRLS
11 a.m. – Class 2A No. 7 Silo vs. Class 4A Broken Bow
1:40 p.m. – Class 2A No. 3 Latta vs. Class A Talihina
4:20 p.m. – Class 2A No. 4 Dale vs. Class 3A Atoka
7 p.m. – Class 3A No. 13 Kingston vs. Class 3A Marlow
BOYS
12:20 p.m. – Class 2A No. 7 Silo vs. Class 4A Broken Bow
3 p.m. – Class 2A Latta vs. Class 3A No. 5 Marlow
5:40 p.m. – Class 2A No. 1 Dale vs. Class A Talihina
8:20 p.m. – Class 3A Kingston vs. Class 3A Atoka
