Nadine Quigley

Nadine Minnie Quigley of Durant, Okla., passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2020 at the age of 92. She was born on Sept. 1, 1927 in Berryville, Ark., to Ollie J, Hatfield and Clara Snow.
Nadine attended school in Berryville and stayed at home to care for her family. She married William Ewell Pool and they built their family in Oasis, Calif. They moved back to southeast Oklahoma in the early ’70s. Ewell preceded her in death in 1981.
Nadine has been a longtime resident of Bryan County. She enjoyed many things which include: dancing, fishing, George Strait, Farkle, yardwork, people watching, shopping and going for rides anywhere but especially spending time with her family. Nadine loved her family! Each and every one of them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Clara Snow; husband, Ewell Pool; daughter, Janet L. Wilson and sister, Rose Winters.
She is survived by her daughter, Billie Root and husband Larry; two sons: Joe Pool and wife Peggy, and Jerry Pool and wife Debbie; grandchildren: Patty Rudolph and husband Tim, Julie Durbin and husband Rodney, Michael Pool and wife Jessica, Lynne Wilson and friend Sarah, Lori Ball, Matthew Pool and wife Jennifer, Hillari Pool, and Trevor Pool and wife Alexis; five great-grandchildren and her Oakridge family where she had spent the last 10 years and was affectionately known as “Boss.”
Nadine’s impact on this world continues as she leaves an amazing legacy with her family.
A Celebration of Nadine’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Durant.
