Mindy “Breezy” Breann Vandenburg, 31, passed away on November 5, 2022. She was born on November 14, 1991, to Harold and Tammie (French) Vandenburg in Durant, Okla.
Mindy attended Rock Creek Public Schools. She had worked as a customer service representative and as a caretaker and had recently started her college career. Mindy was of the Baptist church. She enjoyed going to the casino, spending time with her nieces and nephew, and working on vehicles.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Linda Vandenburg, Royce and Faye French and her uncle, Gary Don.
Those left to cherish Mindy’s memories are her mother, Tammie Faye Vandenburg of the home; father, Harold Vandenburg; sister, Heather Payne of Bokchito, Okla.; brother, Kyle Vandenburg of Durant, Okla.; nieces, Cryslin Jayde Roberts, Raelynn Kaye Vandenburg and nephew, Royce Paul Ryder Payne all of Bokchito, Okla.; lifelong friend, Richard Kermanian. Mindy leaves behind many beloved friends and extended family and her sweet furbabies. She will forever be in their hearts.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday November 17, 2022, at Brown’s Funeral Service of Durant. Family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday November 16, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Service of Durant.
Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Durant.
