Mindi Leeann (Welch) Allen, 36, of Calera, Oklahoma passed away on January 25, 2026, at her home. Mindi was born on September 27, 1989, in Durant to parents Samuel and Shirley (Brinkley) Welch. Mindi graduated from Bentonville, Arkansas High School and worked as a paramedic for Bryan County EMS. She was passionate about her family and job, and she loved the Dallas Cowboys.
Mindi was preceded in death by her grandparents Betty and James Welch.
Mindi is survived by her husband ,Jason Allen; children: Ryela Ann and Ryker Blayne Johnson; step-daughters: Haylee Joe and Taylor Lea Allen; mother, Shirley Walker; father, Samuel Welch; brothers: Joshua Welch and Joey Welch and wife Amber and numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services to celebrate Mindi’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the Bryan County EMS facility. Don Hyde will officiate. Interment will follow in Kemp Cemetery with Jason Allen, Josh Welch, Joey Welch, Brett Welch, Marcus Davis, and Samuel Welch serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday February 3, 2026, from 6-8 p.m.
