Mickey Stewart

My Mickey Lynn Stewart went to sleep in death on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at TMC Hospital in Denison, Texas. He was 69 years old. He had not been well for years.

He leaves four boys: Mannon and Turah Stewart, Mickey and Missi Stewart and their two sons Micah and Mason all of Houston Texas; two other boys he raised, Johnny Ray Snider, Colorado, Jimmy Dale Snider, wife Hileri, son Ethyn and daughter Jorgia, from Pottsboro, Texas. He had only one brother, Ray, who preceded him in death. His wife, Angie Stewart, lives in Nevada. His daughter, Meredith Lovelady Denison, husband Tony, and her three children live in Amarillo, Texas. Mickey’s father, Austin Stewart, also preceded him in death. His mother Norma Jean Stewart, 97, resides in Amarillo, Texas.

Mickey grew up in Dumas, Texas and joined the Navy. After that time, he became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He learned what the Bible teaches. He was an elder in the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Durant, Okla., and other previous congregations where we lived.

He was kind, loving, patient and willing to help his family and friends. As a full time minister for Jehovah, he helped many to come to know Jehovah and improve their lives.

His hope is to be resurrected into the promised Paradise on Earth, knowing he will live forever. (Psalm 37:29, Ecclesiastes 1:4, Revelation 21:4) He knew he would just be asleep and then return. (Ecclesiastes 9:5-10, Acts 24:15) His hope was not to be in heaven with the chosen 144,000 (Revelation 7:4-10). These ones come from all races throughout history. We will see him soon as the Bible’s promises are to be fulfilled.
