Mickey G. Fisher of Cartwright, Okla. was born May 19, 1935, the only child of J.T. Fisher (Buster) and Virginia Mae Anderson Fisher. He was a 1954 graduate of Colbert and married LaRue Young the same Year.

He was a lifelong resident of Bryan County. He enjoyed his family, his family of friends and the Senior Citizens of Colbert.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, LaRue in 2016; great-grandson, Keenan West.

He was the proud father of Pam and spouse Dale Dawson of Colbert, Okla., Randy of Cartwright, Okla., Lori Rambo Haddock of Denison, Texas,; proud grandfather of eight grandchildren: Jon Fisher and Mary Helen of Colbert, Okla., Monica West and Michael Gurnick III of Cartwright, Okla., Janna and finance’ Tooper Duncan of Tishomingo, Okla., Adam Fisher and spouse Crystal of Wynnewood, Okla., Katrina and spouse, Josh Pickens of Tishomingo. Okla., Russ Neasbitt and spouse Leslie of Cartwright, Okla., Heidi and spouse Preston McKnight of Calera, Okla., Preston Rambo of Calera, Okla.; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and other extended family and many friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020, at 2 p.m. at American Funeral Service Chapel in Colbert, Okla. with Reverend Larry Metts officiating. Interment will follow at Thompsonville Cemetery, Platter, OK. Family and friends visitation will be Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, 6-8 p.m. at American Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Josh Pickens, Tooper Duncan, Preston McKnight, Michael Gurnick III and Randal Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Weger and Daniel Shipp.

The family would like to especially thank Centric Hospice. Bryan Boyd, Casandra Canul & Kim Riley for the loving care that was given to their dad.
