Matt Orr of Mead, Okla., passed away at the age of 49 on August 28, 2023. Matt was born on April 24, 1974 in Durant, Okla., to Bill and Brenda (Stilwell) Orr. He was a graduate of Durant High School. He became a licensed farrier and enjoyed fishing, golfing and raising horses in his spare time.
He is preceded in death by his parents and Dave Rickard.
Matt is survived by his son, Jenner Orr of Durant, Okla., and his brother Casey Orr and wife Krista and niece Evelyn of Ooltewah, Tenn.
A visitation for Matthew Lee Orr will be held at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla., on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 5-7 p.m.
Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, 121 N. Fifth Ave. in Durant.
