Mary Jane Shrum, 71, of Achille, Okla. passed away Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021 at Alliance Health in Durant. She was born Oct. 5, 1949 in Durant, Okla., to Richard Melvin and Mary Helen Salsmon Chandler and lived there until 1982 before moving to Achille, where she has lived the past 35 years.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry Shoemake and brother Ricky Chandler.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Shrum of the home; son, Ronnie Shoemake and wife Betty; daughter, Kim Meade; sisters, Connie Chandler and Claudine Rogers; brothers, Ronnie Chandler and John Chandler; grandkids: Josh Little and wife Miranda, Ashleigh Meade and Caleb Shoemake; great-grandkids: Taven Heath, Isley Little, Quinn Little, and Raelee South and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Mary Jane Shrum was held Aug. 23, 2021, at the Rosewood Cemetery in Achille with Reverend Anthony Williams officiating.
