Mary Belle Copeland

Mary Belle Copeland, 60, of Cartwright, Okla. passed away on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021 in Denison, Texas. Mary was born Aug. 3, 1961 in Dallas, Texas, to Stanley Ray Bledsoe and Loretta Belle (Truitt) Bledsoe. She attended Celina Schools and was a stay at home mom and grandmother.

Mary married Vernon Lee Copeland on Aug. 25, 1997 in Sherman, Texas. Mary enjoyed reading, bingo, shopping, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father Stanley Bledsoe, husband Vernon Copeland, and sister Janette Bumgarner.

Mary is survived by her mother, Loretta Bledsoe of Armstrong, Okla.; two daughters, Crystal Boatwright and husband Terry of Cartwright, Okla. and Loretta Bennett and husband Cecil of Cartwright, Okla.; three brothers: Jim Bledsoe of Caddo, Okla., Doyle Bledsoe of Durant, Okla. and Stanley Bledsoe of Caddo, Okla.; three sisters: Peggy Bledsoe of Locust Grove, Okla., Juanita Bledsoe of Armstrong, Okla. and Barbara Pelts of Kettle Falls, Wash. and five grandchildren: Tiffany Dudley and husband Brad, Makayla Boatwright, Tara Boatwright, Angel Bennett, and Elizabeth Boatwright.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021 at Brown’s Funeral Service.
