Marilyn (Stallings) Thompson entered into life on June 20, 1941 and entered into rest on Nov. 12, 2020 at the age of 79.
Marilyn was born in Albany, Okla. on June 20, 1941 to Thomas (Doc) Melton Stallings and Mary Elizabeth (McLain) Stallings. She was the 10th of 11 children.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her four children: son and daughter-in-law Jonathan Carl Thompson (Johnny) and Francine of Calera, Okla., daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Carol (Thompson) Stein and Fred of Orlando, Fla., son, Stacey Van Thompson of Calera, Okla., son and daughter-in-law, Jason McLain Thompson and Stacey (Cordell) Thompson of Colbert, Okla.; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Carolyn G (Stallings) Aguilar of Denison, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Dalton and Glenna Stallings of Calera, Okla.; sister, Betty June (Stallings) Hefner of Springfield, Ore., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: El Wanda Moss, Joyce Evelyn Williams, Emogene Sullivan, Janice Jane Haworth, and Opal Murriel Albright and brothers: Tom Melton Stallings, and John McLain (Mack) Stallings.
A celebration of her life graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020 at the Albany Cemetery in Albany, Okla. with Rev. Michael Calhoun officiating.
Her pallbearers will be Michael Sharp, Jeremy Gray, Courtney Thompson, Aaron Thompson, JC Thompson, and Nathan Thompson. The honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Denison, Kelly Krebbs, Randen Gibson, Kaden Gibson, and Kelly Gibson.
