Maria Kass, a precious soul left this earth and joined her Savior in Heaven on January 22, 2022, at the age of 49. She was born in Sherman, Texas on March 2, 1972, to Marion Moor and Diane (Gross) Moore. Maria married Vince Kass on October 18, 1997 (he preceded her in death).
Maria loved to write and made her living as a freelance reporter for the Durant Daily Democrat, she stated working for them in 2016. She was amazingly talented in writing, and anything artistic she put her hand to. Maria was an active member of the St. Williams Catholic Church in Durant, Okla. She lived her life for her cherished children.
Mrs. Kass is survived by her son, Casey Kass; daughter, Madelynn Kass of Lewisville, Texas; son, Brendon Bradshaw; father, Marion Moore of Mead, Okla.; mother, Diane Gross and sister, Melissa Gates.
Mrs. Kass was preceded in death by her husband, Vince Kass and great-grandmother, Dot Gross.
A rosary will be said at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 28, 2022 at the St. Williams Catholic Church in Durant.
A funeral mass will begin at 3 p.m. with Father Carl Kerkemeyer officiating, her final resting place will be the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Okla. with Casey Kass, Brendon Bradshaw, Caleb Rogers, Colten Tibbits, Carter Tibbits, and Larry Tibbits.
Services are under the direction of Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla.

My thoughts and prayers are with Maria’s family. I know she will be missed but her family and loved ones will be blessed with her memories. She will live on in their hearts.
Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your thoughts? I mean, what you say is important and everything. But its got no punch, no pop! Maybe if you added a pic or two, a video?
